About Us

Joe Spreitzer and Gordon Peterson started PS Air, Inc. in 1991 with the purchase of a King Air C90. It was then that they hired Dave Gilbertson and Ron Silhanek to establish and operate an FAR Part 135 Air Taxi Operation. The purchase of a BE-58 Baron was soon to follow and a successful Air Taxi operation was in full swing.

In January of 1996, the opportunity to purchase an existing Fixed Base Operation on the Cedar Rapids Airport became available. PS Air, Inc. became a full service FBO. The company now has a King Air 200 (Turboprop) and a Piper Navajo available for charter. PS Air, Inc. has grown from 2 full time employees to over 30 full-time and part-time people.
